When you have been around as many businesses as I have, you get a sense of what’s going on inside them culturally. Culture is that aspect of a business that refers to the attitudes and behaviors of the people there. It’s the vibe of how things get done in the workplace.

The most invigorating cultures I have been a part of put people over processes. And rather than having principles for governing people, the principles serve the people. People are just better where the culture is that of trust, empowerment and collaboration.
